For more than 25 years, Rebuilding Together Henry County (RTHC) has helped residents throughout Henry County remain safe and independent in their homes. As more seniors choose to age in place and hospital stays become shorter, the need for affordable access to durable medical equipment continues to grow.
Many individuals need durable medical equipment temporarily after surgery, illness, injury, or a change in mobility. However, Medicare and insurance coverage for many types of durable medical equipment has decreased, leaving many families without affordable options. RTHC provides a durable medical equipment loan program serving all of Henry County.
Rebuilding Together Henry County owns and manages the durable medical equipment available through this program. We accept select equipment in good working condition. All donated equipment is inspected by qualified individuals, sanitized, and evaluated for minor repairs before being added to our inventory.
Each piece of equipment is assigned a tracking number. Equipment is provided on a loan basis and should be returned when it is no longer needed so it can be reused by another community member.
Below are some of the pieces of equipment that we stock.
For any questions about availability or items not listed here, please call (309) 288-4600 for additional information and our application.
